In my industry these decisions are what set each retailer apart and give you your voice in a way. Those who have followed me here over the years, or are familiar with Empiric, know that I am keen on a high gloss lacquer. So naturally the above piece transformed into this....
I also spied this dresser in Joan's new bedroom on Mad Man. American of Martsville was a popular Mid-Century manufacturer so the pieces are more common. If I find this gem again I would do the body, base and center doors in aVan Dyke Brown finish with contrasting lacquer drawer fronts...

i've always loved this collection. a pair of the wide 2 drawer dressers used as nightstands is something i have long coveted.
good job, annie!
You absolutely killed this. I was looking for a way to refinish a less glam piece in a tealy blue for my house (nursery actually, not very sexy) and this shall be the inspiration. Love, love, love, freaking love it.
I love how the dresser turned out. The new look is so contemporary and cool. xo

After you declared bankruptcy, did you pay you pay your creditors back? Or just move on? As one of your creditors, I can answer that......you moved on and didn't pay for the service you received and promised to pay for. Read the court records and be disgusted. Because we are.
