We arrived home from San Francisco yesterday evening to find this little (teeny weeny tiny) baby hummingbird in the yard. There were a couple who had fallen from the nest but this little tatter tot can't quite fly back yet.

I'll post all about our trip once I've caught up a bit and in the meantime I am off to search the bamboo for my new little friend who I fear became my cats tatter tot in the middle of the night....
