Vintage Dining Chairs

I totally fell for these overdone dining chairs at the Long Beach swap meet. The upholstery was so unexpected and the bright colors cheered me. To sit in them is the icing on the cake. This upholstery job would be incredibly expensive and I have no doubt their original home was something for the design books.

They were practically giving them away but, alas, I have no need and I wasn't ready to commit to the high price restoration they would need to undergo for resale at the store. Have I gone mad or are you feeling them too?

Great find. Too bad you didn't have a place for them, and too bad I don't live in the area to snag them.

c+k - they would be beautiful, as is, with a patio set! the wood frames not very practical but a sun room would solve that.

lucinda - the LB swap meet is fast becoming the best. it is held on the 3rd Sunday of each month. the early bird gets the worm theory is a farce so go at your leisure and enjoy all the treasures. they are aplenty!

SN - great minds!!
