Extra Extra

I think it is about time I share our big news! Yes, it's about the store but there is a trickle down effect that is causing a lot more change, not all work related, to take place over the next few months. Get ready for some great design posts because..... We are expanding! Despite a terrible economy our business is surviving and opportunities are presenting themselves. I'd like to think a large part of our success is due to our sensible prices and emphasis on customer service. The modern day Mom and Pop! I can't reveal too much more now, as this is a little premature to begin with, but it all will start in the next couple weeks. Below is the Apartment Therapy write up that put us on the map in this here blogosphere and forced us to amp up our own online presence, ultimately taking the store to a new level.

Okay, so we are going to say it - our favorite store in LA is Empiric.

Empiric has the most beautifully restored Deco and mid century furniture around and the best lamps we have ever seen. Also lots of sexy, sturdy steel and metal office furniture all set in a whimsical atmosphere that looks like an old apothecary. Empiric makes a lot of great furniture as well. Many of the pieces feel truly vintage, yet everything can be customized to fit your needs.

There is a clutter to the store that we would usually loathe, but every last detail seems important to the vibe, and most everything we touch is like a long lost friend waiting to come home with us. Prices are high, but justified.

Recommended by citysearch, who says that the owners' "commitment to flawless artifacts of yonder is striking."

And our commitment only grows so thank you to all our loyal customers and friends who have supported us along the way! Stay tuned for updates here and here. Oh, and have a great weekend!
