Before & After - Dresser by Facade for Mt. Airy

Picture 193

Drabby to Fabby. Refinishing can be out of some peoples price range but its all in the details.
Do what you can when you can. Look how yummy those polished brass pulls are...

I just found the exact same dresser on the street down the block from my apartment! I also work in restoration in New York. Do you know anything more about "Facade by Mount Airy"?

They were a fairly common Mid-Century manufacturer of case goods, etc. Great find!

I picked up this exact dresser, 5-drawer highboy dresser and king size headboard with attached floating nightstands for $500 from an estate sale dealer! Didn't refinish it but did polish it up and replace the hardware... this creamy white color makes me want to have it redone!

I was given a single nightstand in this collection. Looked at it for 6 months and decided on restoration. I did mine in candy apple red....and it turned out simply DELICIOUS!
