Hi gang, long time no post. I've been in a bit of transition but all good comes from change... Case in point, meet the Rossmore headboard. I recently moved into a little one bedroom apt and designing my own space made me realize what we weren't offering that a lady such as myself really needs. This bitchin' piece of furniture! My weekend wasn't exactly adventurous {although I did accidentally drive 45 minutes out of my way and veered from the norm by playing a silly game of tennis with a girlfriend} so today I am taking an online tour of The Tides Hotel in Miami. Care to join?

The moment I check in I will mentally check out.

I'll race to the room and drop my things....

And then head down to the bar to pick up a ginger lemon drop.

Or better yet lets rack up a tab in our pool side cabana....

And swim off our buzz body surfing the waves.

After a shower and a cat nap I'll eat a 4 course meal with friends and enjoy some red wine and the decor...

Until I can't keep my eyes open for another second and its fast to bed for sweet, sweet dreams.......

What Happened To Monday.....

I have the day off and I can't think of much else I want to do beyond drinking coffee and laying around in bed. My head is a little fuzzy after a late night wine and Bachelor binge so forgive me while I recharge my batteries and catch up on all your Monday posts.... Back in a bit!

Friday so soon?! This weekend we are planning to stick around town, hibernate and catch up on the Oscar picks. It is raining in LA which is the perfect excuse to chill out and rest up. I have to work Saturday but what I really wish we were doing is heading up to the mountains to ski.

I am speechless. I am proud. Over joyed. Beyond excitement. Today is larger than imaginable. A huge step in the right direction. Change, yes, and history being made. Both arguably of equal importance.

There was a day not long ago that we were seriously considering our out of country options so I find it perfectly fitting that on this, election day, I toast to our new president as close to home as possible. In his home state.

Or rise and shine.. depending on where you rest your head. I am taking off to see some friends in Denver tomorrow, my first solo mission sans husband since our "big day". Twin beds a thing of the past. 

I love visiting my best friends and staying at their homes. Our grown up houses a million miles away from the cubby holes we used to rent, together.

Meet Ms. Williams, the new Empiric sleeper sofa! Best part? She has a tight back (ie the back cushions are sewn to the frame) which becomes a headboard when in use as a bed. She'll be making her debut on the floor this week so, if you're in the area, pop by and say "hi".
